Without water – for a good reason
Water applied to the skin from the outside does not hydrate the skin. On the contrary, it actually dries out the skin and damages its natural barrier. This in turn promotes the penetration of germs and allergens and the development of inflammation. Water – the main ingredient in most creams – is not an active ingredient for the skin and also requires preservatives and emulsifiers, which can irritate the skin and cause allergic reactions.
