Partnership on an eye-to-eye level. Liquid gold from Namibia.
Article written by Oliver Rust from Namib Desert Oils
Namibia, one of the most lightly populated countries in the world, is located in the south-west of Africa and impresses with its vast landscapes and untouched nature. Many of the valuable natural raw materials, such as plant oils, have been used by the locals for generations for skin care and as food.
In close partnership with Phystine natural cosmetics, Namib Desert Oils produces various high-quality oils, such as Marula oil, Kalahari Melon oil, Mongongo oil, etc. These are produced in a socially and ecologically fair and sustainable manner, cold-pressed and then incorporated into many existing Phystine products as well as the African Gold line, which will soon be available. Traditional knowledge from Africa combined with modern analysis and scientific development from Austria guarantee cosmetic products of the very highest quality.
We are grateful that Phystine now also offers our raw oils in the established Phystine glass bottles with wooden lids, pipettes and cork in its online store and supports us in the distribution of our oils in Europe.
4% of the sales of Namib Desert Oils oils and the African Gold line are donated to the Jojoba for Africa association, which supports Namib Desert Oils.
