How are Phystine Oils applied?

All Phystine Oils are designed to be applied pure – without the need for water – and are immediately absorbed into the skin. Watch the various application videos here:

Without water - for a good reason.

Water applied to the skin from the outside does not hydrate the skin. On the contrary, it actually dries out the skin and damages its natural barrier. This in turn promotes the penetration of germs and allergens and the development of inflammation. Water – the main ingredient in most creams – is not an active ingredient for the skin and also requires preservatives and emulsifiers, which can irritate the skin and cause allergic reactions. That is why Phystine does not use water in its products.

FAQ

Why should the body oil be applied to dry and not damp skin?

The body oil is developed in such a way that it is absorbed into the skin "by itself", i.e. without the help of water. Water (from the outside) destroys the skin barrier in the long term, which is why the water-free Phystine products are designed to be absorbed without water.
Can the body oil also be applied to areas of the body with blemishes?

For blemished areas on the body, it is better to use the face scrub No.3 & the face serum No.3 instead of the body oil.
